Besides deals, Relator brings contacts and companies from the CRM. The records screen lets you check where each lead came from (Google Ads, Meta Ads, another UTM or organic) and find contacts without a source, which are the ones that block the real ROAS calculation.
Before you start
- The client needs a connected, synced CRM.
- The screen is read-only: to edit a contact, use the CRM itself.
Step by step
- 1Step 1
Open the records
In CRM, click Contacts or Companies in the filter bar. On mobile, the same shortcuts are in the ⋯ menu. The CRM records screen shows the Contacts or Companies title and the Back to CRM button.
- 2Step 2
Read the contact list
Each contact shows Contact, E-mail, Channel, Campaign and Created at (in the client's time zone). The channel is one of these:
- Google Ads: the contact has a gclid or a Google source UTM.
- Meta Ads: the contact has an fbclid or a Facebook or Instagram source UTM.
- Other paid: it has a UTM, but from another source.
- Organic/direct: the contact has no campaign tagging at all.

In Companies, each row shows Company, Domain and Created at.
Using the records day to day
- After launching a campaign: open Contacts and check that new leads arrive with the right channel and campaign. If they show as Organic/direct, fix the UTMs before spending more.
- Before the client meeting: see which campaigns show the most recent contacts and compare with each one's spend in Performance.
- When the “leads without a source” pending action appears: the Resolve button brings you to this list; contacts with no campaign are the ones that need a fix in the form or the integration.
- To check a company: in Companies, the domain helps you find the right account when names are similar.
Common problems
- No records yet → the first sync hasn't finished.
- The search can't find a contact → the search only looks at records already loaded on screen. Click Load more and search again.
- Contact without a name → the CRM has no name for it; it shows Unnamed.
Frequently asked questions
Can I export the contacts?
CSV export lives in the deals table on the CRM overview. For full contact lists, export straight from your CRM.
With RD Station CRM, where does the contact's channel come from?
From the RD Station Marketing lead with the same email. That's why it pays to connect both.
