Relator shows the funnel at two levels. The sales funnel lives in the CRM: how many deals sit in each pipeline stage. The ad-to-sale funnel lives on a dashboard: impressions, clicks, sessions, conversions and won deals, adding up Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4 and the CRM over the same period. Together they show where results are lost.

Before you start

  • For the sales funnel: CRM connected and stages mapped. See connect the CRM and map the stages.
  • For the ad-to-sale funnel: at least two stages with a connected source (for example, Meta Ads and the CRM) and a client open.
  • Custom dashboards depend on the plan. See custom dashboards.

The sales funnel, in the CRM

In CRM, the Sales pipeline card shows the deals created in the period spread across stages: a stacked bar and, below it, one row per stage with count, amount and percentage. The order follows your mapping. Loss reasons, next to the deals table, shows why lost deals left the funnel.

The ad-to-sale funnel, on a dashboard

  1. 1
    Step 1

    Ask RelatorAI for the funnel

With the client open, open RelatorAI and ask, for example: “build the ad-to-sale funnel for this month”. The assistant replies with the funnel chart already calculated for the period.

  2. 2
    Step 2

    Send it to a dashboard

In the reply, use Add to dashboard and pick the dashboard. The funnel stays live: when you change the dashboard's date range, the stages are recalculated.

  3. 3
    Step 3

    Read the stages

The default funnel has five stages, each adding up the connected sources:

    • Impressions and Clicks: Meta Ads and Google Ads.
    • Paid media sessions: GA4 sessions from paid channels.
    • GA4 Key events (paid channels) or, without GA4, Meta Ads and Google Ads Conversions. Never both, so the conversion isn't counted twice.
    • Deals won: from the CRM.
  4. 4
    Step 4

    Find the bottleneck

Each stage shows how many move on and how many drop off, and the stage with the biggest drop is highlighted. At the top you see the Overall conversion, from the first stage to the last.

Common problems

  • The funnel is missing sources → the funnel needs at least two stages with a connected source. Connect paid media, GA4 or the CRM.
  • The funnel asks you to choose a client → it crosses the sources of a single client. Open a client's dashboard.
  • Sales pipeline out of order → map the stages in Map stages.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the stages of the ad-to-sale funnel?

Ask RelatorAI for a different funnel (for example, sessions, leads and won deals). It builds the stages from the connected sources' metrics.

Why are the funnel's sessions lower than in GA4?

The funnel uses only sessions from paid channels (paid search, paid social, display and so on), to compare with the media stages above.

Which deals does the CRM pipeline count?

The deals created in the date range chosen on the CRM screen.
