Templates define the structure of a report: cover, pages, which KPIs, charts and tables go in and where the RelatorAI text sits. You pick a template and Relator fills it with the client's numbers. Use them to standardize your agency's reports and save time.
Before you start
The Templates tab only appears for people who can edit reports.
Templates depend on the sources connected for the selected client.

Save one of your reports as a template
Built a report exactly the way you like it? Turn it into a template to repeat the structure in the coming months.
1
Step 1
Open the report in the editor
Open the report and, if it is in read mode, click Edit.
2
Step 2
Open Settings
In the editor's right-hand bar, click Settings.
3
Step 3
Click Save as template
The app saves the template with the report's current title and shows Template saved. The template becomes available for this client.
Add just one tab from a template
You don't need to rebuild the report to use a template. In the editor, click + Add next to the tabs › From template, choose the Template and the source, and click Add tab. A new tab with that template's structure for the chosen platform is added.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a template disabled?
Because a source it requires is missing. The card shows Requires … with the source name. Connect the source for the client or pick another template.
What does "Recommended" mean?
It's the template Relator suggests for the selected sources. It's only a suggestion: you can use any available template.
Does a template I saved show up for other clients?
No. A template saved from the editor stays with the client where the report was created.
