The generator builds a complete report in seconds: cover, an overview page and, depending on the template, one tab per source. KPIs, charts and tables come with the numbers for the period, and the RelatorAI text blocks arrive already written. Then you just review in the editor.

Before you start

  • Select the right client at the top of the app. The report is created inside it.
  • Have at least one active source connected for the client (Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, HubSpot, RD Station Marketing or RD Station CRM). See Available sources.
  • You need to be able to edit reports: an agency member, or the Admin or Editor role on the client.
  • RelatorAI text uses AI credits. Without credits, the report is still created, just without the text.

Step by step

  1. 1
    Step 1

    Open the generator

Go to Reports and click New report. Another shortcut: the New button at the top of the app › Report.

  2. 2
    Step 2

    Choose the sources

In the Sources section, all of the client's active accounts come selected. Click a source to remove it or add it back. Each source shows the account name, never the ID.

    2. 2Recommended marks the template that fits the chosen sources.
    3. 3Requires … tells you which source is missing to use that template.
  3. 3
    Step 3

    Choose the template

In the Template section, click the template. The ones that don't fit the chosen sources are unavailable and say what's missing. If you came from the Templates tab, the template is already chosen and shows under Chosen template; to change it, click Change template.

    • Paid media report: needs Meta Ads or Google Ads (GA4 is included if selected).
    • Executive summary: a single page with the main results.
    • Web analytics report: needs GA4 and Search Console.
    • Client monthly report: one tab per selected source.
    • Period comparison: one page with the change versus the previous period.
  4. 4
    Step 4

    Add extra metrics (optional)

In Extra metrics (optional), check KPIs beyond the ones the template already includes, grouped by source. Skip this step if the template already covers what you need.

  5. 5
    Step 5

    Set the period

In Period, pick a shortcut (for example Last 30 days or Last month) or exact dates on the calendar. The default is the last 30 days. Numbers are calculated in the client's time zone.

  6. 6
    Step 6

Use a dashboard as a base (optional)

If the client has dashboards, Pre-fill from a dashboard (optional) appears. Pick one so its widgets go into the report; the template fills in whatever is missing. Leave it on Do not use a dashboard to use only the template.

  7. 7
    Step 7

    Generate the report

Click Generate report. The app shows a loading screen while it fetches the numbers and RelatorAI writes the text. When it finishes, the report opens straight in the editor.
