How reports work
Understand the report list, the difference between the document you edit and the copy your client receives, and the paths to create, send and approve.

Reports are multi-page documents (tabs) that combine the numbers from a client's connected sources with text written by RelatorAI: summary, wins, issues and recommendations. You build one once, adjust it in the editor, and then share it by link, download it as a PDF or schedule it by email.
Each report belongs to a client. Everything you see on the Reports screen belongs to the client selected at the top of the app.
Where reports live
In the sidebar, click Reports. The Reports page shows all of the client's reports as cards with their cover, newest first. Click any card to open it.
| Report | Status | Period | Actions |
|---|---|---|---|

| Paid media — Black Friday | finished | Sep 1 – 30, 2026 | ⋯ |
| Executive summary — Q3 | draft | Jul 1 – Sep 30, 2026 | ⋯ |

- 5The ⋯ menu on each row has Open report, Ask RelatorAI and Delete.

Live document and frozen copy
Every report has two forms, and knowing this avoids surprises:
- The document is what you edit. It fetches the numbers again whenever you change the period or click Refresh data.
- The frozen copy (snapshot) is what goes out: the public link, the PDF and each scheduled delivery. It keeps the numbers and text from the moment it was created and does not change afterwards.

Who can do what
- At an agency, every team member can create, edit, share and schedule reports for the clients they can access.
- Client users with the Admin or Editor role can edit too. With Viewer, the person can only read: the list menu doesn't show Delete and the editor opens read-only.
- On a company account (no agency), the account owner can do everything.
Delete a report
In the row's ⋯ menu, click Delete and confirm. Deleting can't be undone in the app, but support can restore the report within 30 days. If the report has a scheduled delivery, pause or delete the schedule in the Automation panel first.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my report show as "draft"?
Because the RelatorAI narrative failed during generation and nobody has opened the report yet. Open it, review it and use Try the AI again in the editor. Once opened, it leaves Drafts.
Does the report update itself with today's numbers?
The document does, when you open the editor, change the period or click Refresh data. The link and the PDF are frozen copies: to update them, generate them again.
Do one client's reports show up for another?
No. Each report belongs to one client and only appears when that client is selected.
Is there a report limit?
There is no maximum number of reports per client. RelatorAI text uses AI credits from your plan; see AI credits.
