Attach page items and files

Attaching gives your question context without you having to describe it. There are two kinds of attachments: page items (a KPI, chart, widget or table row that is on screen) and files (a screenshot, a PDF or a spreadsheet). RelatorAI reads the attachment and, when it makes sense, compares it with the client's data.

Before you start

• Accepted images: PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF, up to 3 MB each.
• PDF: up to 3 MB.
• Spreadsheets: XLSX, XLS and CSV.
• At most 3 files per message.

   Open the attachment menu

   In the RelatorAI field, click + (Add attachment). The menu has two groups: From this page and Files.

   Pick the item or the file

   Under From this page, click the item. If the page has more than six items, Search this page appears. Under Files, choose the type and select the file on your computer or phone.

   Check the attachments

   Each attachment becomes a chip above the field. A KPI shows as "Cost · Google Ads · 30 days"; a row shows by the campaign name. Click the chip's X to remove one attachment, or Clear all.

   Ask your question

   Write what you want to know about the attachment and send it. Examples: "what changed in this chart?", "does this invoice match the Meta Ads spend in September?", "summarize this spreadsheet and compare it with GA4".

Shortcuts to attach from the screen

• Explain with AI on a KPI or chart opens RelatorAI with the item attached and a suggested question.
• In tables, the sparkle at the end of the row (Attach this row to the chat) attaches the row.
• In the report list, ⋯ › Ask RelatorAI attaches the report.

How it reads each file type

• Image

  What happens

  It describes the content and extracts the visible numbers (an ads manager screenshot, a chart, a creative).

  Limits

  PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF; up to 3 MB

• PDF

  What happens

  It reads the document: invoice, proposal, report exported from another tool.

  Limits

  Up to 3 MB

• Spreadsheet

  What happens

  Your browser converts the spreadsheet to text before sending it; the original file never leaves your computer.

  Limits

  Up to 5 sheets, 200 rows and 30 columns per sheet are read; the rest is ignored

Common problems

• File too large (max 3 MB).

  Cause

  The image or PDF is over 3 MB.

  Fix

  Compress the image, crop the screenshot or split the PDF.

• Maximum of 3 files per message.

  Cause

  You tried to attach more than 3 files.

  Fix

  Send them in two messages.

• Unsupported format.

  Cause

  The file type isn't accepted (for example, DOCX or video).

  Fix

  Convert it to PDF, image or spreadsheet.

• Nothing on this page can be attached yet

  Cause

  The open page has no attachable KPIs or charts.

  Fix

  Open a data page, like Performance, or attach a file.
