Google Analytics 4 shows what happens on the website: where visits come from, which pages convert, engagement and e-commerce. In Relator, it appears in Performance › Overview and Organic, in dashboards and in web analytics reports.
Before you start
Have a Google account with at least read access to the GA4 property.
Relator connects GA4 properties. Old Universal Analytics properties don't appear.
Each property takes one source of your plan.

Wait for the first load
Back on Data sources, the property shows the Syncing status. The last month arrives within minutes; the rest of the 90 days follows.
What Relator asks Google for
Only the "See and download your Google Analytics data" permission. It is read access: Relator doesn't change the property settings, events or audiences.
What happens next
Today's acquisition, conversions and source/medium update every hour, on any plan.
GA4 may reprocess today for up to 48 hours. That is why, near the current day, the screen shows the note "GA4 may reprocess today’s data for up to 48 hours."
Each pass rereads the last 3 days, and once a week the reread covers 7 days.
Common problems
The property doesn't appear. Your login has no access to it in GA4. Ask the property admin for viewer access and connect again.
"Google didn't return a refresh token." Connect again and accept every permission.
Today's numbers keep changing. That's GA4's own reprocessing. Days settle after 48 hours.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a property admin?
No. Read access is enough, because Relator only reads reports.
Can I connect several properties?
Yes. With your own account, repeat the connection for each one. In an agency, check several at once and assign each to a client.
Are GA4 conversions the same as Google Ads conversions?
Not necessarily. Each tool measures in its own way and gives credit differently. See the article on number differences.
I still use Universal Analytics. Can I connect it?
No. Google shut down Universal Analytics, and Relator only connects GA4 properties.
Is GA4 e-commerce data included?
Yes, if the property has e-commerce set up: purchases, revenue and products come in with everything else.
