HubSpot brings in the sales side: contacts with UTM and gclid, deals with stage, amount and loss reason, and companies. With it, Relator shows the revenue funnel, real ROAS (won revenue in the CRM divided by spend) and the client's CRM area.
Before you start
HubSpot is single-account: each client has one portal. In an agency, connect from inside the client's space; in the overview, the card shows Connect it from a client.
Have a HubSpot login with access to the client's portal.
The connection takes one source of your plan.
Step by step
1
Step 1
Open the client's space
In an agency, switch to the client with the selector at the top. With your own account, you're already in the right place.
2
Step 2
Open Connect new source and choose HubSpot
In the sidebar, click Sources and then Connect new source. HubSpot is in the CRM group.

Step 3
Authorize in HubSpot
Log in to HubSpot. If your login has several portals, HubSpot itself asks which one to connect. Choose the client's portal and accept the permissions.
4
Step 4
Confirm the portal
The Confirm the HubSpot portal screen shows the portal by its domain (or Unnamed HubSpot portal). Check it's the right one and click Finalize.

Step 5
Map the funnel stages
Back on the sources screen, you see HubSpot connected. Now tell Relator what a sale is: open CRM and map each stage as open, won or lost. See Connect the CRM and map stages.
What Relator asks HubSpot for
Read-only access to three CRM objects: contacts, deals and companies. Relator doesn't create, edit or delete records in HubSpot.
What happens next
Relator imports the portal's entire history, not just the last 90 days.
After that, contacts, deals and companies update every hour, on any plan: a deal created at 10 a.m. shows up in the funnel around 11 a.m.
If the client has both HubSpot and RD Station CRM connected, Relator uses HubSpot as the client CRM.
Common problems
The card shows "Connect it from a client". You're in the agency overview. Open the client and try again.
"The OAuth session expired." Click Reconnect HubSpot in the message and authorize again.
Open deals showing as lost in older data. The fix applies from the next full sync. Check the stage mapping in CRM.
Frequently asked questions
Can I link two HubSpot portals to the same client?
No. Each client has one portal. For another portal, create another client or connect it in the right space.
Does Relator write anything to my HubSpot?
No. The permission is read-only for contacts, deals and companies.
Do I need a paid HubSpot plan?
Relator reads HubSpot's standard CRM objects. What matters is that your login can access the portal's contacts, deals and companies.
