Integrate Relator Digital with RD Station CRM?
Connect RD Station CRM to bring in deals, stages and amounts and see the revenue each campaign generated.
In this article · 10 sections
Relator Digital brings each client's paid media, website and CRM into one dashboard, with ready-made reports and an assistant that answers questions about the data. It is built for agencies that report to many clients and for companies.
Use cases
- Real ROAS. Relator divides the revenue from deals won in RD Station CRM by media spend and shows the result by channel and by campaign.
- Revenue funnel. From click to won deal, with the stages of the client's sales funnel named as they are in RD.
- Sales next to media. Won, lost and ongoing deals go into the CRM area, the revenue funnel and real ROAS, next to paid media.
Integration type
Outbound: this integration sends data from RD Station CRM to Relator Digital. Relator only reads: it doesn't create, change or delete deals, contacts, companies or tasks in RD Station CRM.
Integration requirements
- Be a user of the RD Station CRM Basic plan or higher.
- Have a Relator Digital account on any plan, including the 7-day free trial. The connection takes one of the client sources.
- Have an RD Station CRM login with access to the client's account. It is one RD account per client; in an agency, connect from inside the client's space.
Step by step
- 1Step 1
Open Connections in the client
In Relator, open the client space and click Connections. You can also get there through search (⌘K or Ctrl+K) by typing "Connections".
- 2Step 2
Choose RD Station CRM
Click Connect new source. In the CRM group, click RD Station CRM.
- 3Step 3
Authorize in RD Station
Log in with the RD Station CRM login and confirm the authorization for Relator Digital. There's no account selection screen: the account of that login is the one connected.
- 4Step 4
Check the connection
You go back to Data sources with the message RD Station CRM connected. The first load starts with companies and contacts and then brings in deals.
- 5Step 5
Map the stages
Open CRM and say which stages are open, won or lost. It is the integration's only setting: without it, Relator doesn't know what a sale is. See Connect the CRM and map the stages.

Fields are read automatically. What you set up is the meaning of each stage (open, won or lost), in step 5.

Sending the source
The integration does not send the Source to RD Station CRM, because it sends no data to RD. RD Station CRM also doesn't store UTMs on deals. To tie a sale to a campaign, connect the same client's RD Station Marketing: Relator uses the source of the lead with the same email. See How attribution works (gclid and UTM).

Integration limits
- One RD Station CRM account per client.
- If the client also has HubSpot connected, Relator uses HubSpot as the client's CRM in reports.
- The first load of a large base is done gradually, every hour, until it is complete.
- RD renews access on every sync, but access expires after 14 days without use, for example while the connection is disconnected. Then you need to authorize again with Reconnect.
- Relator respects RD's API call limits and continues in the next round when it reaches them.
Additional information
- Support: send questions about the integration to suporte@relator.digital or through the chat inside Relator. We answer in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
- Privacy: access to RD is encrypted and data is handled under Brazil's LGPD. See How we protect your access.
- Disconnect: in Connections, disconnect the account whenever you want. See Manage connections.
- Languages: Relator and this article are available in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Common problems
- The card shows "Connect it from a client". Open the client's space before connecting.
- "Connection failed" message on return. The authorization was declined or interrupted. Try again.
- Failed status after a while. RD refused access, for example because the user lost permission. Use Reconnect in Manage connections.
- No sales in real ROAS. The stages haven't been mapped as won yet, or the deals don't match any campaign.
Frequently asked questions
Does this integration send the Lead Source information?
No. It sends no data to RD Station CRM. The source that ties a sale to a campaign comes from the lead in RD Station Marketing, through the contact email.
How do I know the integration is working?
In Connections, the RD Station CRM account shows the status and the time of the last sync. In CRM, deals show their stages by name. If it shows Failed, use Reconnect.
Do deals carry UTMs?
No. RD Station CRM doesn't store UTMs on deals. To tie sales and campaigns, also connect RD Station Marketing. See the attribution article.
Does a large base take long?
The first load is done gradually, every hour, until complete. The most recently updated deals arrive with each round.
Can I have RD Station CRM and HubSpot on the same client?
You can connect both, but Relator uses HubSpot as the client's CRM in reports.
