Create a new campaign

Describe what you want to advertise and let RelatorAI build the draft on Meta, or start from scratch by picking objective, structure and budget. Nothing goes to the platform until you publish.

The Create campaign button, at the top of Campaigns › Manage ads, starts a new campaign in the chosen account. On Meta Ads you can describe in one or two sentences what you want to advertise and RelatorAI builds the campaign, ad set and ads; or you can start from scratch. On Google Ads you create a Search campaign from scratch.

Either way, the result is a draft: you review every field before publishing, and nothing reaches the ad account until then.

Before you start

  • The ad account must show Can edit at the top of the screen. See Manage Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
  • Your role must allow changing the account (Owner or Admin in the agency; Admin in the client’s space, for connections made there).
  • Starting with RelatorAI uses 1 AI credit from the plan per request. See AI credits.
  • Have at hand what you want to advertise, to whom, the destination link and how much you want to spend per day or in total.

Step by step

  1. 1
    Step 1

    Click Create campaign

In Campaigns › Manage ads, check the platform and account in the bar and click Create campaign. The Create campaign window opens with two paths: Start with RelatorAI and Start from scratch.

  2. 2
    Step 2

Describe what you want to advertise (Meta)

In Start with RelatorAI, write the request the way you would tell a teammate: what to sell, to whom, where and how much to spend. The Request examples show the format. Then click Build campaign.

    2. 2The Request examples show the level of detail that works best.
    3. 3Build campaign sends the request and uses 1 AI credit.
    4. 4Start from scratch opens creation without RelatorAI.
  3. 3
    Step 3

    Follow the build

While building, RelatorAI shows the stages: Reading the request, Reading the account’s pixel, audiences and Pages, Building the campaign, ad set and ads, Writing the copy and Creating the images. If you cancel, the campaign shows up in Drafts once it finishes building, with no new charge.

  4. 4
    Step 4

    Or start from scratch

In Start from scratch, you pick everything from options, without typing IDs:

    • Objective (Meta only): Sales, Leads, Engagement, Traffic, Awareness or App promotion. The objective can’t change after publishing.
    • Structure: how many Ad sets and how many Ads per ad set (up to 10 each). On Google: Ad groups (up to 10) and Ads per group (up to 3).
    • Where the budget lives (Meta only): On the campaign (Advantage+), where Meta splits it across ad sets, or On each ad set.
    • Campaign name: build it from Name parts (Client, Objective, Date, Free text) and a Separator, so it follows the agency’s naming convention.

    1. 1The Objective sets what Meta optimizes for and can’t change after publishing.
    2. 2The Structure sets how many ad sets and ads the draft starts with.
    3. 3Where the budget lives: on the campaign or on each ad set.
    4. 4The Name parts build the name using the agency’s pattern.
  5. 5
    Step 5

    Review the draft

The campaign opens in edit mode. When it came from RelatorAI, a Built by RelatorAI from your request notice sums up the budget and how many fields were suggested. Each suggested field carries the RelatorAI mark with the reason (for example, The amount you asked for: R$ 150.00 a day or The only Page connected to the account). Accept it or change whatever you want.

  6. 6
    Step 6

    Publish when it’s ready

Click Review and publish to check what goes to the platform and publish it. The steps are in Edit and publish.

  7. 7
    Step 7

Come back to a draft later

Everything you edit is saved to the draft. To pick it up another day, click Drafts at the top of Campaigns: the New campaigns not yet published list shows each draft with its last edit date. Drafts stalled for more than 48 hours also show up in Needs your attention.

What RelatorAI suggests and where it comes from

RelatorAI doesn’t make values up: each suggestion names its source (your request, the account pixel, audiences, CRM sales or the account history). Some real examples:

  • Budget

    How RelatorAI suggests it
The amount in your request; without one, 4 times the account’s cost per result, capped at the typical daily spend.
  • Conversion event

    How RelatorAI suggests it
The pixel event with event volume in the last week.
  • Audiences

    How RelatorAI suggests it
Excludes past buyers and includes a lookalike of buyers, when the account has those audiences.
  • Page and Instagram

    How RelatorAI suggests it
The only Page or Instagram account connected to the ad account.
  • URL parameters (UTM)

    How RelatorAI suggests it
Relator’s standard, which ties each sale to the right campaign, ad set and ad.
  • Copy and images

    How RelatorAI suggests it
Written and generated by RelatorAI from the request.

Frequently asked questions

How much does creating a campaign with RelatorAI cost?

Each request uses 1 AI credit from the plan. Generating images in the studio and generating copy use 1 credit per generation. Field suggestions (budget, audience, UTM) don’t use credits.

Can I create Google Ads campaigns with RelatorAI?

Not yet. On Google Ads, creation is always from scratch, with Search campaigns.

Does the campaign start turned on?

Nothing is created on the platform until you publish. In the review, each new item says whether it will turn on when published or after the platform’s review.

Do I need to type UTMs or a pixel ID?

No. Pixel, event, page and audiences are picked from lists from the account itself, and URL parameters are built in guided rows, already with Relator’s standard.
