Manage Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns

See each account’s campaigns, ad sets, ad groups, ads and keywords with the last 30 days of numbers, spot what needs attention, and turn things on or off without opening the platform.

The Manage ads tab, inside Campaigns, shows the client’s ad accounts as a working table: campaigns, ad sets (ad groups, on Google) and ads with what was spent and what it brought in over the last 30 days. From there you turn items on and off, open a campaign to edit it, and create new campaigns, all without leaving Relator.

Use this screen for day-to-day media work: check what is delivering, find the rejected campaign or the one stuck in learning, and pause what is spending without results. The numbers are the same as in the client’s reports.

Too few results to leave learning: delivery gets more expensive and less stable until the campaign gains volume.

Manage ads with sample data.

Before you start

  • A Meta Ads or Google Ads account connected to the client. See Connect Meta Ads and Connect Google Ads.
  • To edit, the connection needs the ad management permission. The top of the screen shows Can edit or Read only, with the reason.
  • Who can make changes: in the agency, Owner and Admin; on a connection made inside the client’s space, that client’s Admin too; on a company account, the account owner. Other roles see the table but get the message You do not have permission to change this account. Ask an admin. when they try to change something.
  • On Google Ads, the manager works with Search campaigns. Other campaign types stay in the Paid media reports.
  • Plan: the manager is included in Scale and Enterprise. On Starter and Pro it is the monthly add-on Campaign manager (Meta Ads and Google Ads), added without changing plans. Without it, the manager does not open the account and shows The campaign manager isn't in your plan. Add the add-on or subscribe to Scale. See Add-ons.

Step by step

  1. 1
    Step 1

    Open Campaigns

With the client open, click Spaces in the sidebar. The Campaigns page opens on the Manage ads tab. The other tab, Initiatives, holds the campaign spaces (see Campaign spaces).

  2. 2
    Step 2

Pick the platform and the account

In the bar right under the tabs, choose Meta Ads or Google Ads under Platform and the ad account under Account. The period is fixed: Last 30 days. If a platform shows as Soon, the manager doesn’t handle that platform’s accounts yet.

  3. 3
    Step 3

    Read the four cards

The cards summarize the chosen account.

    • Spent on Meta (or on Google): how much the account spent in the period and how many campaigns spent.
    • Delivering now: how many campaigns are delivering, out of the account total.
    • Needs attention: how many items have a delivery problem.
    • Open drafts: campaigns being edited that haven’t been published yet.
  4. 4
    Step 4

    Check what needs your attention

The Needs your attention panel lists, from most to least serious, campaigns with a rejection, a delivery issue, a pending payment or limited learning, plus drafts that have been stalled for more than 48 hours. Open campaign → jumps to the right row in the table; Continue → reopens the draft. Next to it, the RelatorAI reading sums up where the budget is concentrated and what paused campaigns spent; Ask more → takes that reading to the chat.

    3. 3The RelatorAI reading comes from the account’s numbers; Ask more → opens the chat.
  5. 5
    Step 5

    Move through the table levels

At the top of the table, choose the level: Campaigns, Ad sets and Ads on Meta; Campaigns, Ad groups, Ads and Keywords on Google. Clicking a campaign name shows what’s inside it and applies the From filter with its name; Remove filter goes back to the full list.

    • Columns switches the column set: Performance (results, cost per result, amount spent), Setup (objective, budget, bid) and Delivery (status, learning, review).
    • Rows are grouped: Delivering now, paused items that spent in the period and, collapsed at the end, No delivery in the period (click Show to open it).
    • Use search (Search campaign, Search ad set...) to find an item by name.
    • In accounts with more than 20 campaigns, the Ads level asks you to select up to 20 campaigns first.
  6. 6
    Step 6

Turn an item on or off

Each row has a switch. Turning it on or off takes effect on the platform right away, without going through review. An ad set that is on inside a campaign that is off shows as Off because the campaign is off: it only delivers again once the campaign is turned on.

What happens next

Turning items on and off reaches the platform right away, and the top of the screen shows when the status was last read (Status read from Meta 4 min ago, for example). Spend and result numbers come from the account sync, the same as the reports, so they may take a while to reflect the change. See Update frequency.

Frequently asked questions

Are the table numbers the same as in the reports?

Yes. Spend and results come from the same sync that feeds Performance and the reports, always for the last 30 days. The status (on, in review, rejected) is read straight from the platform.

Does turning a campaign off delete anything?

No. Turning it off only pauses delivery. The campaign stays in the account with all its history and can be turned back on at any time.

Why isn’t an ad that is on delivering?

Check the delivery column: Off because the campaign is off or Off because the ad set is off means the level above is paused. It may also be In review, Rejected or have a Payment pending on the account.

Can I manage Google Ads too?

Yes, Search campaigns: you see campaigns, ad groups, ads and keywords, turn them on and off, and create or edit Search campaigns.

Can a client invited to the portal change the ads?

Only if they have the Admin role in their space and the connection was made in that space. Agency connections (BM or MCC) can only be changed by the agency’s Owner and Admin.
