Competitors: creative ideas from the market
Name the competing brands in your conversation with RelatorAI. It returns Meta Ad Library links for each one and, when web search is on, what has been published about them, to back up creative ideas.
In this article · 3 sections
To compare the client with the market, tell RelatorAI which brands compete for the same audience. It builds shortcuts to each brand’s active ads in Meta’s Ad Library, searches the web when search is available and uses those references to suggest creatives and angles.
Before you start
- Open a client’s space (or your company account) so RelatorAI reads the right campaigns.
- Have the brand names at hand and, if possible, the Instagram handle, the website or the Facebook Page ID.
- There is no competitor list screen anymore: everything happens in the conversation.
Step by step
- 1Step 1
Name the competitors in your question
In the RelatorAI chat, ask something like "How can I optimize my top-spending campaign based on competitors Brand A and @brandb?". If you don’t say which ones, RelatorAI asks before comparing.
- 2Step 2
Open the Ad Library
For each brand, the answer brings Meta Ad Library links: the search by name, the search by Instagram handle and, when you give the Page ID, the Page’s active ads. Use them to see what the competitor is running right now.
- 3Step 3
Use the creative ideas
RelatorAI compares them with the client’s creatives and suggests angles, hooks and formats. Facts taken from the web come with the source link; it never makes up competitor ads.
What is sent
Only the name and public profiles of the brands you mention. When RelatorAI searches the web for market references, it sends only terms about the brand and the market, never personal data. See AI limits and privacy.
Frequently asked questions
Does Relator show how much competitors spend?
No. Meta’s Ad Library shows active ads, not how much each brand spends. Relator uses those ads as creative references.
Where did the Competitors screen go?
It was removed from the product: it only stored names and links. Now you just name the competitors in your conversation with RelatorAI, which builds the same Ad Library shortcuts.
Do I need the Facebook Page ID?
No. Without the ID, the shortcuts search the Ad Library by brand name and Instagram handle, which usually finds the right Page.
