An agency in Brazil may serve one client in Argentina and another in the United States. That is why language, currency and time zone are set per client. That client’s numbers, dates and reports follow this setup, even if your own interface is in another language.
Before you start
Who can change it: the agency team or a client Admin.
In a company account, the same setting lives in Settings › General of your space.
Check which currency and time zone the client’s ad accounts use on the platforms. Matching them avoids confusion when comparing numbers.
In the sidebar, click Settings. In the Client group, check the client in the switcher and click General. Go to Region.

Choose and save
Select Language, Time zone and Currency and click Save on the bottom bar. The same three fields also live in the General tab and the Edit profile panel on the client profile.
What changes after you save
Numbers and dates for the client follow the chosen format. In English, R$ 12.480,00 becomes R$12,480.00; in USD, values show the dollar sign.
Reports: text generated by Relator and automated deliveries come out in the client’s language and currency.
Time zone: sets the cutoff for “today”, “yesterday” and the client’s periods.
Clients screen: if the book has clients in different currencies, the footer shows “Different currencies, not summed” instead of adding up total spend.
Example: a client in Argentina
The Farol agency, in São Paulo, serves a retail chain in Buenos Aires. The client’s ad accounts use Argentine pesos and the Buenos Aires time zone. The recommended setup:
Language: Español, so reports come out in Spanish.
Currency: ARS, the same as the ad accounts.
Time zone: America/Buenos_Aires, so “yesterday” ends at midnight there.
Farol’s team keeps using the app in Portuguese. On the Clients screen, this client shows values in pesos, and the footer stops adding up total spend, because the book now has two currencies.
Common issues
Daily spend doesn’t match the platform. Compare the client’s time zone with the ad account’s time zone. A day in São Paulo does not end at the same time as a day in New York. See Time zone and currency.
My time zone is not on the list. The list is fixed. Choose a time zone with the same clock time as yours, or UTC.
An old report is still in the previous language. Reports already generated are not rewritten. The next ones come out in the new language.
Frequently asked questions
Can I have clients in different currencies in the same agency?
Yes. Each client has its own currency. Only the total in the Clients screen footer stops adding up when currencies differ.
Does Relator convert values from one currency to another?
The currency sets how the client’s values are displayed. To avoid odd numbers, use the same currency as the client’s ad accounts.
Does the client see the portal in their language?
The client’s numbers and reports follow the language set here. Menus follow the language each person chooses.
