Each space (each client, or your own account) has a time zone and a currency. The time zone decides when the day turns over and, therefore, what goes into "Today", "Yesterday" or "Last 7 days". The currency decides how values are shown. Both live in Settings › General › Language and format.

Before you start

  • You need edit permission in the client's space. In an agency, open the client before opening settings.
  • Know the time zone and currency the client's ad accounts use. The currency shows in the Currency column under Sources.

How the time zone affects data

  • Period shortcuts ("Today", "Yesterday", "This week") are calculated in the client's time zone. At 11:30 p.m. in São Paulo, "Today" is still the São Paulo day, even if it's already tomorrow elsewhere.
  • Each platform closes the day in its own account time zone: the ad account in Meta, the account in Google Ads, the property in GA4. Search Console uses Pacific Time.
  • New spaces start on America/Sao_Paulo.

Which currency values appear in

Values arrive in the currency each account uses on the platform. Relator doesn't convert currencies. The client's currency sets the symbol and formatting in dashboards and reports, so it should match the accounts.

  • In Sources, the Currency column shows each account's currency, read-only, and the Currency filter separates accounts by currency.
  • In the agency Portfolio, when clients use different currencies, the total shows Different currencies, not summed instead of adding reais and dollars.
  • Currencies available for a client: BRL, USD, EUR, ARS, CLP, COP, MXN and GBP.

Step by step to change them

Frequently asked questions

Does Relator convert dollars to reais?

No. Each value shows in the source account currency. To compare accounts in different currencies, analyze each one separately.

I changed the time zone and yesterday's numbers changed. Why?

Because "yesterday" is now calculated in another time zone. The period's dates change; the platform data stays the same.

Can I have clients in different time zones?

Yes. Each client has its own time zone, currency and language. See Client language, currency and time zone.
