What the client sees in the portal
The portal is the version of Relator your client opens with their own login: only their data, with their brand and without the agency’s internal tools.

When you invite someone from the client, that person signs in to Relator with their own email and password and lands in the client portal. It is a lean space for people who want to follow results without seeing the agency’s back office. The portal only shows that client’s space: no other clients, nothing from internal operations.
The portal menu
The portal sidebar has four items:
Overview
- What the client finds
- The client Home: period indicators, top campaigns, goals, deliveries and the team serving the account.
Spaces
- What the client finds
- The client’s campaign spaces, with the numbers of each initiative.
Reports
- What the client finds
- The client’s reports to open, read and download.
Timeline
- What the client finds
- What happened in the account day by day: milestones, changes and results.

What the client does not see
- RelatorAI and the ask-AI button.
- The notifications bell and plan and free-trial notices.
- Clients, Dashboards, Metrics and Goals: these screens do not open in the portal.
- Creating new reports: the client reads and downloads reports but cannot open the report builder.
- Billing, the plan and the agency team as a whole.
- Any data from the agency’s other clients.
Branding in the portal
The portal shows the client’s logo at the top. The screens keep Relator colors; the client’s colors go into reports, the PDF and the delivery email. From the Pro plan on, white label removes the Relator brand from what the client sees. See Brand and white label.
How the client gets in
- 1.The agency invites the person’s email from inside the client.
- 2.The person gets the invite by email and clicks the link.
- 3.On Confirm your access, they see the client name, the agency and the role, and click Accept and continue.
- 4.If they don’t have an account yet, they enter a Full name and a Password of at least 8 characters and click Create account and continue.
- 5.From then on, they sign in through Relator’s regular sign-in screen.
The step by step on the agency side is in Invite the client to the portal.
Good practices
- Before inviting, apply the client’s logo and brand color. The first visit makes a better impression.
- Have at least one report ready in Reports. An empty portal raises questions.
- Give Viewer to people who only follow along and Editor to people who help build reports. Keep Admin for whoever will manage access for other people on the client side.
Common issues
- The client says the Overview is empty. The client has no data sources assigned yet, or the first sync has not finished. Check Sources inside the client. See Data isn’t showing up.
- The client can’t find a report. Check that the report was created inside that client’s space, not in the agency view.
- The client can’t sign in. The invite may have expired or landed in spam. Send a new invite. See The invite never arrived.
- The client suddenly lost access. The client was archived or the person was removed from the members.
