You change plans on the same screen where you subscribed. How it works depends on the payment method: by card, the change is immediate and the difference is pro-rated; by Pix, the period already paid has to end before you change plans.

Before you start

  • In an agency, only Owner or Admin can change the plan.
  • Check in Usage this cycle whether the target plan fits your workspaces, sources and seats (see Plan limits and usage).
  • You always change to Starter, Pro or Scale. If you are on an older plan, see I have an older plan.

    Confirm the change

The change applies right away and you see Plan updated. Your bill is adjusted on a pro-rata basis. The limits, features and refresh frequency of the new plan take effect immediately.

How pro-rated billing works

By card, Stripe calculates a credit for the time you won't use on the old plan and a charge for the remaining time on the new plan. The difference goes on your next invoice.

  • Moving up mid-month: from Starter (R$ 59) to Pro (R$ 199) with half the month ahead, you get about R$ 29.50 in Starter credit and pay about R$ 99.50 for Pro. Your next invoice comes with about R$ 70 more.
  • Moving down mid-month: the credit from the bigger plan is larger than the cost of the smaller one, and the difference reduces your next invoice.
  • From monthly to annual: since the interval changes, the billing cycle restarts on the change date and the credit for the current month is deducted.

Change plans on Pix

  • Prepaid Pix: while a paid period is running, you can only pay a new period of the same plan, which starts when the current one ends. To change plans, wait for the period to end and pay for the new plan.
  • Pix Automático: click Cancel recurring PIX. Access continues until the end of the month already paid; after that, subscribe to the new plan.
  • From Pix to card (or the other way): one subscription has to end before the other starts. Relator warns you with Cancel the PIX subscription before switching to card. or Cancel the card subscription before switching to PIX.

Moving down to a smaller plan

Nothing is deleted when you move down. If you use more than the new plan allows (for example, 12 sources on a Starter with 5), what already exists stays, but Relator blocks new additions of that type until usage is back within the limit. To adjust:

  • Workspaces: archive the clients you no longer serve (Edit and archive a client).
  • Sources: disconnect accounts that don't need to sync anymore (Manage connections).
  • Seats: remove members or cancel pending invites.
  • Features the new plan doesn't include (such as custom dashboards, scheduling, goals or white label on Starter) start asking for an upgrade. The campaign manager, API and MCP and hourly refresh can stay as add-ons on Starter and Pro.

Frequently asked questions

Is the card change immediate?

Yes, both up and down. The money adjustment shows on your next invoice.

Can I go back from annual to monthly?

Yes, from the Monthly card tab. Stripe takes the pro-rated annual credit into account on the next charge.

Will my dashboards disappear if I move down?

No. Relator doesn't delete anything when you change plans. Features the new plan doesn't include start asking for an upgrade.

Does changing plans change the refresh frequency?

Yes. Syncing follows the new plan’s frequency right after the change, unless you have the hourly refresh add-on.
