The Paid media tab in Performance answers "is the money in the right place?". It puts Meta Ads and Google Ads on the same scale and lets you go down, without losing the period, from the platform to the campaign, from the campaign to the ad set or ad group, and from there to the ad.

Before you start

  • Connect the client’s Meta Ads and/or Google Ads. See Connect Meta Ads and Connect Google Ads.
  • For the target comparison (Channel goal and CPA against target), create a CPA goal for the channel. See Create goals.
  • Available on all plans.

What’s on the tab

  1. 1.KPIs: Spend, Conversions, CPA and ROAS for the period, with the change.
  2. 2.Needs attention and RelatorAI reading.
  3. 3.Channels: one row per platform with Spend, Clicks, Conversions, CPA and Channel goal (On target, Off target, Not enough data or no goal set). In the same card, Spend per day stacks Meta and Google, with the previous period’s total dashed.
  4. 4.Campaigns: Meta and Google in the same list, sorted together. It shows five; See all N → opens the full list. When there is Google Ads in the period, the table also shows Impressions, All conversions and Status.
  5. 5.Where the money is working: each bubble is a campaign, by cost per click × clicks, sized by spend. Next to it, Meta’s Featured creatives, when connected.
  6. 6.All reports: every report the tab’s sources deliver, grouped into Acquisition, Engagement and content, Audience, Conversions and revenue.

Step by step: from platform to ad

  1. 1
    Step 1

    Open the Paid media tab

In Performance, click Paid media. Check the KPIs and the attention items before looking at the tables.

  2. 2
    Step 2

Compare channels and open a platform

In the Channels section, compare budget share, CPA and goal side by side. Click the Meta Ads or Google Ads row to open the platform.

    2. 2Campaigns: click a row to open the campaign already filtered by channel.
  3. 3
    Step 3

    Read the platform

Inside the platform, the top becomes a strip with the channel’s numbers (spent, clicks, conversions, CPA, avg. CPC). Next come the platform’s spend per day and Channel campaigns. In What is worth a look, use Compare to change the level: Campaigns, Ad sets (or Ad groups, on Google) and Ads. If the platform reports no conversions, a line warns you and the comparison switches to cost per click.

    • CPA against target only appears when the channel has a CPA goal: each bar is a campaign (or ad set) on the same scale, with the target marked.
    • Ad sets (Meta) or Ad groups (Google) list the middle level, with each one’s campaign.
    • On Google Ads, the Google Ads report section has the Account, Campaigns, Ads, Keywords, Search terms and Bidding strategies tabs.

    Step 4

    Open a campaign

Click a campaign. The header shows the verdict (for example, CPA R$ 58.10 · 31% above target, or No conversions in the period — no CPA) and Campaign attention points shows where the problem is, such as the group that concentrates the budget. On Meta, Creatives in this campaign shows the assets; on Google, the campaign opens by its groups.

  5. 5
    Step 5

    Go down to the ad

Click an ad set or ad group to open Ads in this group: each row is an ad delivered in the period. That’s the end of the path. Use ← Back to the campaign to go up one level.

Sort and share

Tables have Sort by (Spend, Clicks, Conversions, CPA). For CPA, the order is ascending, because lower cost is better; rows without conversions go to the end. Sorting, comparison level and the open campaign are kept in the page address: reloading, going back or sharing keeps everything.

Common problems

  • "Meta returned no conversions": the account doesn’t send conversions to Relator in the period, or the campaigns didn’t convert. CPA and ROAS have no denominator; check the pixel and events on the platform.
  • "No data for this campaign in the period": the campaign didn’t deliver on the selected dates. Change the period or go back to the channel.
  • A section with an error and "Try again": that section’s query failed. The others are still valid; try again in a moment.
  • CPA against target doesn’t show: the channel has no CPA goal. Create one in Goals.

Frequently asked questions

Why doesn’t the sum of the campaigns match the channel row?

The channel row adds up every campaign in the period; the table only shows the first ones. Use See all N → to see the full list.

Can I pause a campaign from here?

Performance is for reading. To edit, pause or activate, use Spaces. See Campaign manager.

What does "Not enough data" mean for the goal?

There aren’t enough conversions in the period to compare CPA with the goal. Relator doesn’t judge the campaign without a basis.

How are featured creatives chosen?

They are four Meta ads picked by explicit criteria, each with the reason for the pick. Without Meta connected, the efficiency map takes the whole row.
