Archiving takes a client out of circulation without deleting its history. The action is the last part of Settings › Client › General, under Archive client. The old Advanced section of Settings no longer exists: its address takes you to General. In the client profile, in Clients, the Advanced tab still has the same action.
Before you start
Archive client only shows for the agency team, with a client chosen. Client people and own-business accounts don’t see it.
Archiving requires being an agency admin. Anyone else gets a permission warning.
Tell the client first: their portal access is cut immediately.
If you only want to pause a source, don’t archive: disconnect it in Connections. See Manage connections.
