The Leads & sales tab in Performance is the home of RD Station Marketing and RD Station CRM. It shows the funnel end to end for the period: how many leads came in, how many became opportunities, how many deals closed and how much they brought in. The tab always shows in the bar; without RD connected, the cards say No sources connected.

Before you start

  • Connect RD Station Marketing and/or RD Station CRM. See Connect RD Station Marketing and Connect RD Station CRM.
  • Some reports depend on the RD Station plan. Opportunities and the funnel, for example, only exist on RD Station Marketing’s Advanced plan.
  • HubSpot doesn’t appear on this tab. Its CRM data goes into CRM and true ROAS. See CRM records.

Step by step

  1. 1
    Step 1

Open the Leads & sales tab

In Performance, click Leads & sales. The KPIs are Leads (by capture date), Opportunities (with how many leads became opportunities), Won deals and Revenue (with the average ticket in the footer).

    Step 2

    Read the attention items

As on the other tabs, Needs attention warns first about sources that are down or without their first sync, because they make the numbers below lower than reality.

  3. 3
    Step 3

Compare leads and deals per day

Side by side, Leads per day and Won deals per day show the period’s curve with the previous one dashed. This is where you see whether a spike in leads became sales a few days later.

  4. 4
    Step 4

    Use the RD Station cards

The RD Station section has one card per slice, each with three numbers and the change:

    • Leads and landing pages: captured leads, conversions and conversion rate.
    • Email marketing: emails delivered, open and click.
    • Funnel: visitors, opportunities and sales (RD Advanced plan).
    • RD Station CRM: the CRM’s deals in the period.
  5. 5
    Step 5

    Open the full report

Click See report on a card, or use All reports at the end of the tab, to see the full daily series in Metrics.

Common problems

  • Opportunities shows "No data": the funnel only exists on RD Station Marketing’s Advanced plan.
  • Revenue at zero with won deals: the deals closed in the CRM have no value filled in.
  • "This channel couldn’t be loaded right now": the card’s query failed. Reload in a few minutes; the other cards are still valid.

Frequently asked questions

Are leads counted by creation date or conversion date?

The Leads KPI counts by the lead’s capture date. Landing page conversions show separately in the Leads and landing pages card.

Does this tab show true ROAS?

No. The ROAS that crosses CRM revenue with paid media lives in CRM. See True ROAS.

Why do leads here differ from Meta Ads?

Here you count the leads that reached RD Station, from any source. On Meta, you count the conversions the platform attributes to ads.
