Learn which problems Relator detects on its own (unusual spend, stopped delivery, broken tag, goals off pace), where they show up and how to tune the sensitivity.
Relator reviews each client's data once a day and creates an alert when something breaks the pattern: yesterday's spend spiked, delivery stopped, GA4 stopped receiving sessions or a goal fell off pace. You don't need to configure anything to start; thresholds come with default values and can be tuned per client.
Before you start
Media alerts require Meta Ads or Google Ads connected; tracking alerts require GA4 connected.
Goal alerts require goals (a feature of Pro, Scale and Enterprise) and, for now, that the client has Meta Ads or Google Ads connected. The other alerts work on every plan.
Tuning thresholds and email delivery in Notifications is for the account owner (company) or the agency's owner and admins.
What Relator detects
Unusual spend
Source
Meta Ads, Google Ads
When it fires
Yesterday's spend exceeded the multiplier of the last 7 days' median (default 2×) and the spend floor (default R$ 50)
Delivery stopped
Source
Meta Ads, Google Ads
When it fires
The account had been spending over the last 7 days and yesterday it was zero
Zero sessions
Source
GA4
When it fires
GA4 recorded no sessions yesterday but usually does: the tag may be down
Zero conversions
Source
GA4
When it fires
Key events dropped to zero yesterday: check the conversion event
Goal at risk or off pace
Source
Goals
When it fires
The goal's forecast went past the goal's alert threshold
Goal achieved
Source
Goals
When it fires
The target was reached (informational notice)

Each alert has a severity: Notice, Warning or Critical. The same problem creates at most one alert per day, so the list doesn't fill up with repeats.
Where alerts show up
Client Home: a strip right below the header with the count (“2 open alerts”) and the most severe alert; click it to open Paid media in Performance. The client's status seal changes too.
Agency Home: clients with warning or critical alerts move up to Needs attention.
Timeline: every alert is recorded as an event, so you know when the problem started. See timeline.
Email: if the Email channel is on in Notifications, Relator sends one email per client per day with the new alerts.
Tune thresholds and turn on email
1
Step 1
Open the client's Notifications
With the client open, go to Account › Notifications. The settings apply only to that client.
2
Step 2
Turn on email if you want
Under Delivery channels, In Relator Digital is always on. Turn on Email to also get alerts by email. Email is off for new clients.
3
Step 3
Tune the thresholds
Under Alert thresholds, change only what your operation calls for. An empty field goes back to the default.
Anomaly multiplier (default 2): how many times above the 7-day median yesterday's spend must be to trigger an alert. Accounts with irregular spend call for a higher value.
Spend floor (R$) (default 50): minimum spend yesterday to consider an anomaly. Avoids alerts on low-spend accounts.
Over-pacing (default 1.15) and Under-pacing (default 0.7): spend pacing limits relative to plan.

Common problems
I don't get alert emails → check that Email is on in the client's Notifications. The email only goes out when there is a new alert that day.
I get a spend alert every week → the account has normal spikes (for example, weekend campaigns). Raise the Anomaly multiplier.
Zero-sessions alert for no reason → check that the GA4 tag is published on the site and that the connected property is the right one.
I can't edit the thresholds → only the account owner or the agency's owner and admins can. See roles and permissions.
Frequently asked questions
How often are alerts checked?
Once a day, using yesterday's data. That's why alerts always talk about the previous day.
Can I turn off one type of alert?
Performance alerts have no per-type switch; you control sensitivity through the thresholds. Goal alerts follow each goal's threshold.
Does the end client get the alerts?
The email goes to the eligible admins of the client's workspace. The client portal doesn't show alerts.
Which currency do alerts use?
The client's currency, the same as the connected ad accounts.
