The agency journey
The agency Home checklist: three agency steps and six per client until they receive their first report.
In this article · 5 sections
The agency journey is the checklist that takes the agency from signup to its first client receiving a report. It lives on the agency Home and has two parts: what the agency sets up once and what each client needs. Each step checks itself off when you complete it in the product, with no "done" button to click.
Before you start
- It applies to agency and freelancer accounts.
- The journey appears on the agency view Home. Inside each client, the same journey shows at the bottom of the sidebar as Getting started.
- Your first client becomes the template for the next ones: report templates you save work for all of them.

In the portfolio, Continue opens each client's next step. When a client has every step done, Ready to deliver appears.
- 4Step 4
Collapse or dismiss the guide
Use Collapse guide to keep only the title, or Dismiss guide to remove it from the Home. To bring it back, click Show getting started.
When everything is ready
With the agency set up and every client ready, the agency Home switches to the day's agenda: who needs attention, what is running normally and upcoming deliveries. The checklist becomes a discreet line at the bottom, X of Y set up · view checklist, which opens the same journey whenever you need it. See Agency Home.
Common problems
- I did the step but it's still pending. Check the condition under Checks itself when:. For example, the accounts step only counts a Meta Ads, Google Ads or GA4 account assigned to the client, or the client's own connection.
- "Add a client first." Client steps only exist after the first client is created.
- "Couldn't load getting started". Only the guide progress didn't arrive; clients, connections and reports are still saved. Click Try again.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to follow the order?
No, but it helps. The order follows what each step needs from the previous one: without assigned accounts, the report has no data; without a report, there's nothing to schedule.
Is the journey the same for the whole team?
Yes. Progress comes from what exists in the account, so everyone at the agency sees the same state.
I dismissed the guide inside a client. Does it disappear from the agency Home?
No. Each client's sidebar card and the Home guide are dismissed separately.
Does the client see this journey?
No. The journey is only for the agency team.
