In an own-business account (Company or Solo entrepreneur), brand and workspace are the same thing: your business name becomes the name of the account and of its only workspace. The wizard is short: name, website and logo, your first connections, and you're done.
Before you start
Your business's name, website and, if you have one, logo.
Logins for the platforms you use: Facebook with access to the ad account, Google with access to Google Ads and GA4, and your CRM login.
A few uninterrupted minutes: each connection opens the platform sign-in page and comes back to the wizard.
Step by step
1
Step 1
Choose Company or Solo entrepreneur
In Who are you?, click Company or Solo entrepreneur, in the Just my business group.
2
Step 2
Create the workspace
On the Let's create your workspace screen, fill in:
Workspace name (Required): at least 2 characters. It becomes the name of the account and the workspace, and you can change it later.
Website (Optional): Relator uses it to fetch the site icon and enrich reports.
Logo (Optional): upload the file to use your brand at the top of the dashboard.
3
Step 3
Connect your accounts
In Connect your accounts, click the source card. The platform sign-in page opens; authorize and come back. When your login has several accounts or properties, the Connect … window asks you to pick the right one, and you confirm with Connect.
Meta Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics 4: you choose the account or property.
RD Station Marketing, RD Station CRM and HubSpot: the connection goes straight to your workspace.
You connect Search Console later, in Sources. Coming soon cards cannot connect yet.
4
Step 4
Finish
Click Build my dashboard. With a source connected, the You're all set! screen takes you to Performance in a few seconds (or click Go to dashboard). Without a source, Workspace ready appears and Relator opens Sources.
5
Step 5
Check your connections
In Sources, each source appears on its own row with its status and last sync time. Right after connecting, it is normal to see Syncing.

Common problems
"No accounts found". The login you used doesn't have access to any account on that platform. Sign in with the user who manages the account.
The connection stopped halfway. The connection session expires if signing in takes too long. Go back and try again.
The numbers don't show up yet. The first import takes a few minutes. See Data not showing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I have more than one workspace in an own-business account?
No. Own-business accounts have a single workspace. If you serve clients, the right type is an agency account; see Create an account and choose the type.
Where do I change the name, website or logo later?
The name is in Settings › General; logo, colors and report footer in Settings › Brand. See Brand and white label.
