After you choose Agency or Freelancer, the wizard sets up your operation: it creates the organization and the first client and connects that client's accounts right away, so syncing starts while you finish. At the end you land in the app, with the agency journey showing what is left.
Before you start
The agency's name and, if you want, its logo (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5MB).
The first client's name and website.
Access to the client's accounts: the Facebook login that manages the BM and the Google login with access to Google Ads (ideally the MCC) and GA4.
The emails of the team members joining now (optional).
Step by step
1
Step 1
Choose Agency or Freelancer
In Who are you?, click Agency or Freelancer, in the I serve clients group.
2
Step 2
Name the agency
On the What should we call this? screen, only the name is required.
Name (Required): at least 2 characters. It's the agency's name in the app and in invitations.
How many clients do you serve today? (Optional): pick a range, from 1 to 100+, or Not sure yet.
Logo (Optional): drag it in or click to upload.
3
Step 3
Create the first client space
In Create your first client space, fill in Name and, if you want, Website (optional). With the website, Relator tries to fetch the client's icon; without it, it uses initials. The How it appears in the picker preview shows how the client will look in the client switcher.
4
Step 4
Connect this client's data
Right below, under Connect this client's data, are the source cards. They unlock once the client's name has at least 2 characters.
Meta Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics 4: you sign in to the platform, choose the manager account (BM or MCC), then in Assign … account pick which account belongs to this client under Client account and click Assign.
RD Station Marketing, RD Station CRM and HubSpot: the connection goes straight to the client, with no assign step.
Cards marked Coming soon cannot connect yet.

Step 5
Ask RelatorAI your first question
If you connected an account RelatorAI can read, Ask RelatorAI about… appears. Last month's data arrives first: each source shows Syncing and then Last month ready. Pick one of the suggested questions or write your own. The conversation is saved to the client and counts toward your plan's AI messages.
6
Step 6
Invite the team (or skip)
In Want to bring the team in now?, choose Skip for now or Invite team now.
Type one email per line or paste several at once, separated by commas or line breaks.
Under Role, choose Admin or Member. The difference is explained in Roles and permissions.
Invitations are only sent when you finish the wizard.
7
Step 7
Finish
Click Finish setup (or Invite and finish, if you added emails). The You're all set! screen takes you into the app in a few seconds. If no source was connected, Workspace ready appears and Relator opens Sources.
What happens next
The agency organization and the first client are created. You switch between them with the switcher at the top of the screen.
Assigned accounts start syncing. History arrives gradually; see Imported history.
The agency Home shows the agency journey, with the next steps: BM and MCC, brand, team and each client's journey.
